Recently, a DRPA employee began a book drive at the the facilities within the DRPA. The book drive benefits the Camden County Pop-Up Library who’s mission is to provide open and direct access to books in impoverished or under-served communities. Over the years, FOP Lodge 30 has been running a toy drive for a school in Camden, NJ. Books have always been a popular donation, but unfortunately children don’t normally take books as their gift, they rather have toys as their choice. Brother Waters thought it would be a great idea to donate the books we have had in storage over the years and re-donate them for another great cause. Boxes of books were donated to the Pop-Up Library so they can find a new home. If you would like to learn more about the Camden County Pop-Up Library please click on the link below.
