On September 11, 2019, FOP Lodge #30 held its first annual Retiree Appreciation Night. Many retired officers came out and had a great time and enjoyed delicious food, cold beverages and shared war stories. The members of the executive board were very pleased to see the large amount of retirees in attendance and hope to continue this tradition every year. During the meeting, recently retired Officer Lisa Bethune, was given an honorary retiree badge as a token of Lodge 30’s appreciation for her years of service with the department. If anyone has anything they would like to share about last night’s gathering, please post something in the comment section below.
“I wanted to thank everyone that came out and made the retiree appreciation night a success! It was great seeing everyone and it is definitely something we will continue in the years to come!”
-Vice President John Hogan
