On June 11, 2021, FOP Lodge 30 of Pennsylvania and New Jersey sponsored a team of runners for the NJ Torch Run benefiting the Special Olympics. Our team participated by running Leg 10 of the run which covered a portion of Camden County, specifically a 7 mile stretch of the White Horse Pike between Somerdale and Camden.

FOP Lodge 30’s team consisted of Ptl. J. Smith, Ptl. Lipiec, Sgt. Grazioli, Sgt. Voll, Ptl. Knott, Ptl. Ehret, Sgt. Longfellow and Ptl. Caruso (left to right). Special thanks to Ptl. Waters for organizing our teams participation in the run the with the NJ Torch Run organization. Also, special thanks to Ptl. Byrd (Ret.) and Lt. Santiago for assisting with transporting the team members and keeping them safe while running. Hopefully next year the number of members participating in the run grows. Great job to the members that ran for a worthy cause.
