On Thursday March 24, 2022, a ceremony was held at the Betsy Ross Bridge to celebrate the retirement of Lt. Santiago and Police Officer Brian Keister. Lt. Santiago began his profession as a Police Officer with the Camden Police Department. In 1988, he became a Patrol Officer for the Delaware River Port Authority and was promoted through the years to higher ranks eventually achieving the roll of Lieutenant. He worked in the Special Investigations/Services and was a member of the High Angle Rescue, Crime Prevention, Honor Guard, and Juvenile Units. Officer Keister joined the department in 1985 and served 37 years as a patrol officer.
